A CLOSER LOOK AT MODALITIES
A closer look at
the techniques.

ACUPUNCTURE
A technique that uses very fine needles inserted at specific points in the body. It can be used to address pain, muscle tension and areas of restricted movement.
CUPPING
A soft tissue technique that uses suction to gently lift the skin and underlying tissues. It can help address muscular tension and tight or restricted areas.
IASTT / GRASTON
Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Therapy uses specialized tools to work over muscles and connective tissues. The technique helps target areas of tension and soft tissue restriction.
JOINT MOBILIZATION
Gentle, controlled movements are applied to a joint through its available range of motion. They are used to address stiffness and improve mobility.
MRT
A hands-on soft tissue technique that combines pressure with movement. It is used to work with tight or restricted muscles and surrounding soft tissues.

ACTIVATOR ADJUSTING
A small handheld instrument delivers a quick, controlled impulse to a targeted joint. It provides an alternative to a traditional hands-on adjustment.
DROP PIECE
A technique that uses specialized sections of a chiropractic table that move slightly during an adjustment. This allows a controlled adjustment with a different amount and style of force.
DOLPHIN NEUROSTIM
A handheld microcurrent stimulation device used on targeted areas of the body. It can be incorporated into treatment for pain, soft tissue concerns and scar care.
TAPING
Therapeutic tape is applied to the skin to provide support while still allowing movement. It may be used to support muscles and joints during activity and recovery.
LASER
A non-invasive treatment that uses light energy on targeted tissues. It may be used as part of treatment to support tissue healing and recovery.
